Shilpa Shetty Kundra is one of the few actresses in Bollywood who have emerged as a fitness enthusiast in the recent years. She has been enlightening people to live a healthy life with good eating habits and continues to do so. The actress is all set for the release of her next cookbook, The Diary of a Domestic Diva.
In an exclusive conversation with Republic TV, Shilpa talks about the importance of healthy eating, '
'Every meal is very important, it’s like a fuel to your body and everything translates into how you function. So, for me breakfast is one of the most important meal of the day. I make sure I include an apple, pomegranate or a raw banana or my overnight soaked oats which I eat with Almond milk and chia seeds. I keep them in fridge overnight and then in morning before leaving for a shoot I pack them. Because in morning I don’t get time since I have to go to my son's room to check whether he is ready for school."
Shilpa Shetty Kundra who is a mother to four-year-old Viaan Raj Kundra says ‘’I just feel most mothers are like that and people who have a busy life mostly end up compromising their breakfast so I do my breakfast preparation a night before and in the morning I pack them before leaving for work and eat them in the car."
Shilpa is a foodie by her own admission. She loves to binge and her Instagram is filled with her famous ‘Sunday Binge’ video where she shares what she I eating on her cheat day. Talking about her cheat days she said, "I enjoy food and according to me if u don’t enjoy, appreciate and show gratitude towards what you eat then you wont be happy ever and you can’t be healthy. So, through my Instagram I show people I eat and I enjoy my food a lot, though I have a disciplined life. But when Sunday comes I just attack food and desserts because I am also a normal human being with favorite foods and that cheat day is very important to me and every human being should follow such a lifestyle."
