Here’s How Shahid Kapoor Reacted To Brother Ishaan Khatter’s Film 'Beyond The Clouds'

Ishaan Khatter is all set to make his acting debut with the Majid Majidi directorial 'Beyond The Clouds'. During a recent interview to a news publication, the actor revealed that Majidi organised a special screening of the film for his half-brother Shahid Kapoor and mother Neelima Azim.

Talking about Shahid's reaction after watching the film Ishaan told Hindustan Times, "When the film was over, he took an angdaai (stretch and yawn) and then gave me a look expressing what he felt. That look said it all. It meant the world to me."

Ishaan further said that he has always looked up to Shahid and continues to seek his advice. Talking about comparisons to Shahid, the actor stated that he does not mind the comparisons and people try to see the similarities between the two because they are brothers.

Ishaan Khatter also spoke to the news publication about his mother's reaction to the film. The actor said that his mother felt that he had disappeared into his character on-screen. Ishaan further said that he is thankful to her for exposing him to Hindi and American classic films at a young age.

'Beyond The Clouds' which also stars Malayalam actor Malavika Mohanan, is slated for a release on April 20.

Meanwhile, Ishaan will also be seen in 'Dhadak' which is the Hindi remake of the much acclaimed Marathi film 'Sairat'. The film marks Janhvi Kapoor's Bollywood debut and is directed by the 'Badrinath Ki Dulhania' director Shashank Khaitan. 'Dhadak' is slated to release on July 6, 2018.
