Janhvi Kapoor has gone on to become a favourite among the paparazzi even before her Bollywood debut. The actress is regularly featured on various news portals and makes news for her sartorial choices. During Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja's wedding ceremony, Janhvi, 21, was an epitome of elegance and grace as arrived in a pale pink lehenga. The actress looked straight out of a fairytale in a silver-blue sequinned lehenga at Sonam's wedding reception. Janhvi accompanied by her sister Khushi Kapoor and step-siblings Arjun Kapoor and Anshula Kapoor made for a perfect family portrait at Sonam and Anand's lavish wedding celebration.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Janhvi is all set to make her big Bollywood debut in ‘Dhadak', which is co-produced by Zee Studios and Dharma Productions, and is an official remake of the much acclaimed Marathi film 'Sairat' directed by Nagraj Manjule. The Hindi remake of the film is directed by 'Badrinath Ki Dulhania' director Shashank Khaitan and is slated to release on July 6, 2018.
Janhvi Kapoor was shooting for the film in Mumbai when her mother, legendary actress Sridevi, passed away on February 24 in Dubai where she was attending a family wedding with husband Boney Kapoor and her younger daughter Khushi Kapoor. According to the post-mortem report, Sridevi's death occurred due to accidental drowning following a loss of consciousness.
