Comedian-turned-actor Kapil Sharma, who had taken a break from his comedy show, has now tweeted the motion poster of his upcoming film Firangi. The poster shows the British flag emerge from the clouds and then zooms out to showcase a British man bending down, while Kapil (dressed as an Indian soldier from the British era) kicks him away with disdain.
While the 15-second motion poster gives nothing away, it does appear as if the film has a strong patriotic flavour attached to it.

Directed by Rajiev Dhingra, Firangi is a historical period drama set in the year 1920 and marks Kapil's return to mainstream cinema. Kapil made his Bollywood debut with Kis Kis Ko Pyaar Karoon (2015), and has now been shooting for this film for the past six months.
Kapil had also taken a break from his TV show, The Kapil Sharma Show to focus on Firangi. The funnyman has had a tumultuous time in the recent past after a much-publicised mid-air spat with Sunil Grover. His show went off air a few months later and Kapil said it was because he was ill.
Firangi, which also features Ishita Dutta and Monica Gill, is slated to hit screens on November 24.
