Controversial ‘Bigg Boss 11’ contestant Arshi Khan has allegedly accused a priest from Sai Dham temple in Kandivli, Mumbai of sexual harassment and extortion. The priest, however, has a different story to tell.
According to a report in a leading tabloid, a priest accused Arshi Khan of borrowing Rs 40,000 from him two years back and alleged that she never returned it.
Following Arshi’s failure to repay the loan, the priest reportedly filed a complaint at the Samta Nagar police station on Tuesday.
According to the report, the priest claimed that Arshi and her publicist Flynn Remedios visited his temple in September 2015. As Arshi reportedly had to undergo urgent health treatment back then and didn’t have sufficient funds, the ‘Bigg Boss’ contestant asked him for monetary assistance, claimed the priest in the report. He agreed to help her and reportedly gave her the required amount in cash. Arshi, however, then disappeared and stopped taking his calls or visiting the temple, the priest said.
Following these allegations, Arshi has reportedly filed a complaint against the priest for sexual harassment and extortion.
Arshi Khan first made headlines for her association with Shahid Afridi. On September 8, 2015, Arshi tweeted about her relationship with Shahid Afridi. "Yes, I had sex with Afridi! Do I need the Indian media's permission to sleep with someone? It's my personal life. For me it was love," Arshi had tweeted.
In 2016, Arshi Khan claimed that she was pregnant, a statement that sparked rumours of Shahid Afridi being the father of the baby. Later, in an interview, Arshi denied being pregnant.
