Earthquake tremors felt in Delhi-NCR, parts of North India

Strong earthquake tremors jolted parts of Delhi-National Capital Region on Sunday. More details are awaited. This comes after an earthquake of magnitude 6.5 struck western Afghanistan in the morning.

Earlier, on October 3rd, 2023 massive earthquake tremors were felt in Delhi-NCR. According to the National Center for Seismology, the magnitude 6.2 quake struck Nepal at a depth of 5 km. The quake was also felt in parts of India including its capital New Delhi and the surrounding regions. 

People were seen rushing out of houses and office blocks in parts of New Delhi. There were no immediate reports of damage in India or Nepal.
