Not too long after, nationwide outrage took over India due to the horrific Kathua and Unnao rape case, yet another minor girl was targeted in Surat, Gujarat. The horrifying news break about an 11-year-old minor being raped, whose body was found with 86 injuries, in Surat has snapped the nation's patience.
Anand Mahindra, the Chairman and Managing Director of Mahindra group on Sunday shared a powerful message on the micro-blogging portal. He wrote, "The job of executioner is not an aspirational job. But for the execution of brutal rapists & murderers of young girls I would volunteer unhesitatingly. I work hard to stay calm, but my blood boils over to see this happen in our country.."
Following Anand Mahindra's tweet, the producer of 'Neerja' and 'Tumhari Sulu', Atul Kasbekar replied saying, "You'll have to get in line Anand".
