A businessman linked to Hurriyat leader Mirwaiz Umar Farooq is pictured meeting 26/11 mastermind Hafiz Saeed. The meeting between the two apparently took place on Thursday. The Hurriyat leader has reportedly given Rs. 1 crore to Saeed.
Arsalan Bhatti of ‘Duniya News’ of Pakistan told that these photos are old and that there is no basis to the allegation that there is a private security army for Hafiz Saeed. “The video is not proof that it is Hafiz Saeed’s army and that the video is very old,” said Bhatti.
He also went on to say that ‘Dadagiri’ doesn’t happen in Pakistan and that the video is not what it seems like. Watch the full video of the news break above.
Earlier, Republic TV had accessed images of the special security team created by the Lashkar-e-Taiba for global terrorist and Jamaat-u-Dawah (JuD) chief Hafiz Saeed. The LeT squad has been charged with providing Saeed with round-the-clock security cover even when he travels outside Lahore for his 'engagements'. The security squad will be armed, Republic TV has learnt.
