Congress' Aiyar Does It Again; Calls PM Modi 'Neech Aadmi' (lowly) While Talking About Dr Ambedkar

Despite the Congress party being soundly panned for it's crass 'Chaiwala' meme attack at the Prime Minister, a train of thought that originated from Mani Shankar Aiyar before the 2014 elections, the Congress leader has once again launched a personal attack at Narendra Modi.

Speaking to reporters, Aiyar said:

Dr Ambedkar's biggest wish, to turn it into a reality, one person made the biggest contribution and his name was Jawaharlal Nehru. Now to say such bad things about this family, especially in the memory of Ambedkarji, a big statue is being inaugurated here. I feel that this man (PM Modi) is a very lowly (Neech) and degenerate person. On an occasion like this, what is the need for this dirty politics?

Apart from his attack reeking of elitism and being in poor taste, it also completely skews the meaning of what Dr Bhimrao Ambedkar had stood for, i.e. abolition of castes and classes.

Aiyar is hardly a first-time offender when it comes to making crass attacks against the Prime Minister. A few years ago, on a visit to Pakistan, Aiyar had been caught on camera suggesting to Pakistani leaders to 'First get rid of Modi.'
