Fashion designer Masaba Gupta recently took to Twitter to hail the firecracker ban imposed by the Supreme Court in Delhi-NCR until November 1 over concerns surrounding air pollution. While the designer retweeted a post by Nidhi Razdan, stating 'Yes!'. The Twitterati felt it appropriate to call her out on her birth. In response to which she took to Instagram to slam trolls that termed her an "illegitimate child"
Speaking out in support of her post, author Chetan Bhagat wrote, "you are amazing, one of the truly most inspiring people I have met. learn from me. don't let 'em trolls get to you. you r bigger than that!". While Soni Razdan wrote, "You tell 'em Masaba ! And there is no such thing as 'illegitimacy'. If you exist you are 'legitimate'. Nature has seen to that. 👍👍👍"
Prior to Masaba Gupta, actor Disha Patani got trolled recently for posted an image of herself wearing backless jumpsuit. Trolls also lately went after director Karan Johar calling him the'flag-bearer of nepotism' a term coined by actor Kangana Ranaut on his show Koffee with Karan. Meanwhile, actor Kareena Kapoor also got trolled for looking 'ugly'. Even though the actor is not any social media platform, trolls found their way through her supposed gym-buddy Amrita Arora's account and her sister Karisma Kapoor. As the number of incidents surrounding trolls is growing at an unprecedented rate, the Supreme Court on October 5 expressed concern over it and agreed that regulating them was necessary.
