Now here’s a design that draws its inspiration from the now defunct ‘Vertu’ line of smartphones, a premium finish in Australian calf leather, premium metal frame that boasts an eye-catching design. It also has the perfectly placed fingerprint sensor for that added level of security we all have come to need in these hacker-prone times.

But, that is not why you buy this phone for. As the name suggests, the 10000 stands for the battery capacity. Yes, you read it right; it’s a staggering 10000 mAh battery in a smartphone!

At 288gm, this is a hefty phone by today’s standards and might even find use as a weapon should you need one. The phone comes with a 13-megapixel primary camera ably supported by a 5- megapixel front camera.

While the Oukitel 10000 Pro wont outrun some of the best smartphones on the market, the device sports fairly decent specs; a mediatek MT6750T Octa-core processor clocking 1.5 Ghz, 3 GB RAM, 32 GB ROM and support of expandable Micro-SD card of up to 64 GB and is a dual sim – dual standby device. The standout feature of the phone is its excellent battery life, significantly lag free operations thanks to Android 7.0 running straight out of the box and this device can charge up to 3 iPhones and still have 10% of power left.

Oukitel K10000 Pro can easily last 5 days on single charge with heavy to moderate usage. According to Oukitel, the standby times are even more phenomenal - they are a whopping 33days with 4G data usage, 55 days on 3G & 77 days on 2G! This phone charges completely in 3.5hrs thanks to the 12V/2A flash charge that’s included.

PROS

  • A gargantuan 10000 mAh Battery
  • Great battery life

CONS

  • Mediocre specs
  • Bulky build
  • Non-retail availability in India
