Luv Sinha is basking in the success of his recently released film Gadar 2, starring Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel. The film marks his third project after Sadiyaan (2010) and Paltan (2018). Despite being the son of veteran star Shatrughan Sinha, the actor, in a recent interview revealed that no one offered him work.

Shatrughan Sinha helped many 'big people' in Bollywood

Speaking to Siddharth Kanan, Luv Sinha revealed that his father Shatrughan Sinha helped others throughout his life selflessly. He added that there are many 'big people' in the industry his father helped, who could have given work to him (Luv Sinha). 

"Someone close to the family could have given me a chance, he had seen my acting at a workshop and talked to the teacher at the workshop about my acting, but didn’t give me work. I was not given the opportunity," Luv Sinha continued.

Luv Sinha added that he doesn't take it personally, but many actors gave flops and got many chances. However, he didn't get a second chance to prove his mettle in the industry. 

Luv Sinha's role in Gadar 2

The actor had a brief appearance in the film as Farid, Muskaan (Simrat Kaur)'s brother. In the film, he dies towards the end, helping Tara Singh (Sunny Deol) and Jeete (Utkarsh Sharma) escape Pakistani General Hamid Iqbal.

In the same interview, the actor opened up on sister Sonakshi and said that he is a proud brother as she helped maintain respect for the family name. "We are proud of her for taking the family’s name forward. I watched Dabangg eight times and also distributed its DVDs to my friends in the US,” added Luv.
