NDA exam is conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) annually for admission to the Army, Navy, and Air Force wings of the National Defence Academy. NDA is a national-level entrance exam that is held twice a year for aspirants looking to join the Defence Forces. NDA 2021 Academic Criteria
- The candidates must have completed their Class 12 of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or its equivalent from a recognized State Education Board or a University.
- Candidates who are applying for Air Force and Naval Wings must have completed their Class 12 of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or its equivalent with Physics and Mathematics from a recognized State Education Board or a University.

Nationality
As per NDA eligibility criteria 2021, a candidate must be either:
- A Citizen of India
- A subject of Nepal
- A subject of Bhutan
- A Tibetan refugee who came over to India before January 1, 1962, with the intention of permanently settling in India.
- A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, or East African Countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, and Ethiopia or from Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.
