After the completion of RCB's inning, Rashid Khan said, "It's a good wicket to bat on, with the batting line-up we have, we should chase it. There is no dew at the moment, one just need to focus in the field, support the bowlers - as a team, we're trying to not make too many drops (catches). As a spinner, you'd love such tracks, it's slow and there's a bit of bounce, but you need to be accurate with the line and length. If you back up your strengths, you can perform on this surface."

Bhuvaneshwar to begin proceedings, Padikkal & captain Kohli in the middle

After losing the toss against the SRH, Virat Kohli said, "Looks patchy, so not a bad toss to lose. Runs on the board in Chennai is proving to be important, if we do get wickets in the middle overs, it will become difficult. Was a good game, but we were not at our best - to finish eight down wasn't ideal, but as a bowling unit, it was great to be back in the game. We will need to be professional, play ourselves in and then get a good total. On such pitches strike rotation is important. You don't want to leave too much towards the end. We will need to stay ahead of the game - Padikkal is back, he replaces Rajat Patidar. I will open with him, Shahbaz will bat at three."

David Warner on winning the toss said, "We will bowl first. Don't think the conditions will change a lot, we'll have to play with a positive mindset. We need one or two batters at the crease for an extended period of time. The fielding wasn't great, we are looking to improve on that. Jason Holder and Shahbaz Nadeem in, replacing Nabi and Sandeep Sharma."

SRH and RCB have clashed in IPL times so far in which 10 have been won by the SRH team while RCB have won 7 matches. In IPL 2020, these two sides won one game each in the league phase, and then clashed in the eliminator. However, RCB was defeated by the SRH in the eliminator. It is to be noted that both sides clashed in the IPL 2016 final where SRH registered a thrilling win to clinch their maiden title in the tournament.

Another humid day in the offing in Chennai but the pitches haven't been too challenging as they were expected to be. In the two matches played so far, the average score is 170. The faster bowlers will still find some purchase, while also varying their pace to good effect. There will also be ample turn on offer, making the middle overs a crucial phase in the context of the match. Overall, anything above 170 should be a good total on this ground.

These two sides last met in the Eliminator last season. In a tightly fought contest that had was moving towards RCB, SRH pulled off a six-wicket win and incidentally, Williamson got them over the line with a trademark unbeaten half-century and was also named man of the match.

In a pursuit to register their first win, the SunRisers Hyderabad will take on high on confidence Royal Challengers Bangalore in match 6 of IPL 2021. Warner & Co. will lock horns with Virat Kohli-led side RCB at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. There are lots of boxes to tick for David Warner and the SRH management as in their first match the team failed to strike balance with its overseas core. The Indian pace trio of Bhuvneshwar, Sandeep, and Natarajan went off the radar in the first match and that could lead SRH in bringing in Jason Holder into the mix.

However, in the contest between the two teams, the SunRisers Hyderabad hold an edge over Royal Challengers Bangalore. Both the teams have locked horns in IPL 18 times so far in which 10 have been won by the SRH team while RCB have won 7 matches. In IPL 2020, RCB and SRH won one game each in the league phase, and then clashed in the eliminator.

Talking about the RCB, Virat Kohli might include opener Devdutt Padikkal back into the squad after having missed out on the first match right after his recovery from COVID-19.
