According to a company statement, the acti.ev architecture will serve as the foundational platform for upcoming offerings within TPEM's portfolio, accommodating various body styles and dimensions. The architecture has been engineered with a focus on delivering optimal efficiencies, maximising interior space, and enhancing battery capacity to augment the driving experience. Anand Kulkarni, TPEM's Chief Products Officer and Head of HV Programs and Customer Service highlighted the global readiness and future-oriented design of the acti.ev platform.

Features of Acti.ev

Key features of the acti.ev platform include an optimised battery pack design that offers a range spanning from 300 km to 600 km. The platform supports both AC and DC fast charging capabilities, with charging speeds reaching up to 150kW, allowing for an addition of approximately 100 km in a mere 10 minutes.

Additionally, the architecture prioritises safety, boasting a reinforced body structure designed to meet future safety standards set by Global NCAP and Bharat NCAP.

Furthermore, the acti.ev platform is primed for the integration of advanced driver assistance systems, positioning the vehicles for future advancements in autonomous driving technology. TPEM has commenced online bookings for the Punch.ev, requiring an initial downpayment of Rs 21,000.
