JSW Infra IPO; Price Band, Issue Size And Other Details 

JSW Infrastructure IPO price band: JSW Infrastructure has announced a price band of Rs 113-119 per share for its forthcoming initial public offering (IPO), scheduled to open on September 25. The IPO solely consists of a fresh issue by the company and does not include an offer-for-sale component. The total issue size is set at Rs 2,800 crore. This marks the first IPO from the JSW Group in 13 years, following the listing of its energy business separately in 2010.

For the IPO, JSW Infrastructure has allocated 10 per cent of the offer to retail investors, 75 per cent to qualified institutional buyers, and 15 per cent to non-institutional investors. Each lot comprises 126 shares, with an application amount of Rs 14,994.

The net proceeds from the fresh issue will be used to repay debts amounting to Rs 880 crore, while Rs 1,029.04 crore will be directed towards expansion and upgrades at Jaigarh Port, which is owned by the company's subsidiary, JSW Jaigarh Port.

Sajjan Jindal Family Trust holds a majority stake of 90.91 per cent in JSW Infrastructure, while JSW Infrastructure Employees Welfare Trust, JSL, and Siddeshwari Tradex collectively own 9.08 per cent of the company's shares.

Financial performance 

The company has reported impressive financial performance, with a 126.8 per cent year-on-year growth in net profit, reaching Rs 749.5 crore for the fiscal year ending in March 2023. Revenue from operations also saw substantial growth, increasing by 40.5 percent to Rs 3,194.7 crore during the same period.
