Gensol Engineering wins Rs 139 crore solar power project in Chhattisgarh

Capital Influx for Solar Power in Chattisgarh: Gensol Engineering Limited, founded by BluSmart co-founder Anmol Singh Jaggi, has been awarded a contract for a 33 MW AC solar power project by Sarda Energy & Minerals Ltd (SEML) in Chattisgarh.
The contract marks a strategic foray for Gensol Engineering into the Chhattisgarh market, for future growth and opportunities in the region.
SEML, a leader in steel production and India’s top exporter of ferro alloys, will be deploying new energy solutions in SEML’s Kharora plant in Chhattisgarh as part of the deal, as per a regulatory filing.
The contract is scheduled for completion within a 6-month timeline and includes design, engineering, procurement, and construction, along with the commissioning of the solar power facility.

Founded in 2012, Gensol Engineering Limited is a part of the Gensol group of companies and offers engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) services for the development of solar power plants.
Gensol also has an electric vehicle (EV) manufacturing facility in Pune, India for the development and production of electric three-wheelers and four-wheelers.
Gensol offers comprehensive EV leasing solutions as part of BluSmart and also serves a diverse range of B2B customers, including PSUs, government bodies and ride-hailing companies.
