Dhanlaxmi Bank rises after total deposits climbs 11% in Q3 FY24
The private sector bank has also posted a 11 per cent growth in its total business to Rs 24,657 crore in Q3 FY24
Dhanlaxmi Bank shares rose 3 per cent to hit an intraday of Rs 32.83 on Tuesday after the company announced that its total deposits in Q3 FY24 climbed nearly 11 per cent to Rs 14,310 crore from Rs 12,939 crore in Q3 FY23.
The private sector bank has also posted a 11 per cent growth in its total business to Rs 24,657 crore in Q3 FY24 from Rs 22,183 crore in Q3 FY23 as per a regulatory filing.
The Current Account and Savings Account (CASA), a major source of income for banks, saw an annual growth of 6 per cent for the Thrissur-headquartered lender to Rs 4,459 crore in Q3 FY24 from Rs 4,219 crore in Q3 FY23.
In the gold loan segment, the private banking firm registered a year-on-year (YoY) 28.36 per cent rise to Rs 2,675 crore in Q3 FY24 from Rs 2,084 crore in Q3 FY23.
As of 11:17 am, shares of Dhanlaxmi Bank were trading 2.71 per cent higher at Rs 31.78.
