NTPC Renewable Energy wins bid for 900 MW solar projects
NTPC Renewable Energy Ltd has reaffirmed its efforts for a sustainable future.

NTPC Renewable Energy Ltd , the fully owned subsidiary of the NTPC Limited, a Public Sector Undertaking under the ownership of the Ministry of Power has won a bid for developing 900 MW of solar projects. This arm of state-owned NTPC, formed in the year 2020, won the bid in a tender floated by PFC Consulting Limited (PFCCL). In a statement issued, NTPC said
"NTPC Renewable Energy Limited has secured the bid for 900 MW capacity in the solar tender floated by PFCCL on behalf of NTPC Ltd for selection of 1,250 MW ISTS-connected solar PV power projects in India under flexibility scheme," NTPC said in a statement on Friday.

As a pillar to the Government of India’s Energy Transition Goals, financial contributions play pivotal role towards achieving 500 GW installed Renewable Energy capacity by 2030. Through supplementary Energy Transition process, green energy players has set an ambitious target of creating loan assets of Rs 3 lakh crore by 2030. Green firms such as NTPC Renewable Energy Ltd are upbeat on the vision for a cleaner and greener India. The successful MoUs under renewable segment signed during the G20 Summit, further underscore efforts renewable energy firms are making to drive India's journey towards a sustainable and eco-friendly future.
