New Delhi: The Directorate of Medical Education and Research, Tamil Nadu has initiated the registration process for the National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET) UG counselling 2024 for admission to MBBS and BDS programmes. Eligible candidates can now apply for TN NEET UG counselling 2024 on the official website, tnmedicalselection.net. The committee has also released the prospectus for UG counselling 2024-25, covering both government and management quota seats. The last date to submit the application form is August 8. Applicants must pay a non-refundable registration fee of Rs 500 for government quota and Rs 1,000 for management quota seats.
Counselling Rounds
The Directorate of Medical Education (DME) will conduct four rounds of TN NEET counselling:
1. Round 1
2. Round 2
3. Mop-up Round
4. Stray Round
Each round will include registration, fee payment, choice-filling, and seat allotment processes.
- NEET UG 2024 admit card and score card
- Class 10 and Class 12 marksheets (both sides)
- HSC marksheet or equivalent examination certificate
- Transfer certificate post-HSC or equivalent course
- Proof of study from Class 6 to Class 12 for candidates who studied in Tamil Nadu
- Community certificate
- Nativity certificate (if applicable)
- Community certificate of one parent
- Bonafide certificate from Chief Educational Officer for candidates who studied in Tamil Nadu government schools for 7.5% special reservation
- Income certificate for fee exemption claimants
- Eligibility certificate from Tamil Nadu Dr. MGR Medical University for candidates from other boards
- Court orders (if any)
- Additional supporting documents (if any)
- Linguistic Minority Certificate (Telugu and Malayalam) and Christian Minority Certificate for management quota
- NRI status certificate, OCI card for management quota NRI status
- Relationship certificate between NRI financial supporter and candidate
- Valid Indian passport of the NRI financial supporter
- NRE bank account passbook of the financial supporter
Candidates are advised to gather all necessary documents and complete their applications promptly to ensure a smooth registration process.
