The Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (JKBOPEE) has extended the registration deadline for the Jammu and Kashmir Common Entrance Test (JKCET) 2025. Eligible candidates can complete the application process on the official website, jkbopee.gov.in.
The JKCET registration deadline was initially extended to March 19. However, the board has now provided an additional 10 days for candidates to complete the application process.
As per the official notification, candidates must have completed their 10+2 or an equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects. Those belonging to the Open Merit Category, including the Economically Weaker Section (EWS), must have secured a minimum of 45% aggregate marks, while reserved category candidates from SC, ST-I, ST-II, RBA, ALC, IB, and OBC require at least 40%. Additionally, applicants must hold domicile status in either the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir or the Union Territory of Ladakh.
Candidates are required to pay an application fee of Rs 1,000. The payment can be made using a Credit Card, Debit Card, Net Banking, or UPI.
Step 1: Go to the official website jkbopee.gov.in.
Step 2: Click on the JKCET 2025 Registration link.
Step 3: Enter your personal, academic, and contact details as required.
Step 4: Upload the necessary documents in the prescribed format.
Step 5: Make the payment for the application fee and submit the form.
Step 6: Save and print the confirmation page for future reference.
The JKCET 2025 is conducted for admission into BE and BTech courses in government and private engineering colleges across the Union Territory. The exam will take place at seven centres, including Jammu, Srinagar, Doda, Rajouri, Anantnag, Baramulla, and Leh.
