"Victory and defeat are an integral part of life", says PM Modi accepting the people's mandate in assembly polls

In the light of the polls' results, Prime Minister Narendra Modi took to Twitter to extend gratitude toward the BJP workers, saying that 'Victory and defeat are an integral part of life'.

The Election Commission on Tuesday declared the result for the five states that went into polls in November-December 2018, wherein Congress swept huge victory in Chhattisgarh(33 seats), Madhya Pradesh(63 seats) and Rajasthan(95 seats).

In the light of the polls' results, Prime Minister Narendra Modi took to social media to post a series of tweets in which he not only accepted the BJP party's defeat calling it the 'people's mandate', but has also extended congratulatory messages for the Congress party, KCR and MNF for their victories in three of the five assemblies in the polls.

Congratulatory wishes for the opposition parties Congress, that won in Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Rajasthan, KCR's TRS that won in Telangana and MNF that won in Mizoram:

Felicitating the BJP workers for their hardwork and asserting that the results of the 2018 assembly polls will resolve to serve people and the development of India, he tweeted:

Speaking about the numbers for the BJP party, the party managed to secure 7 seats in Chhattisgarh, 65 in Madhya Pradesh, 1 seat in Mizoram, 73 seats in Rajasthan and 1 seat in Telangana, after the declaration of the assembly results.
