A day after exit polls were declared on May 19 following the culmination of the last phase of Lok Sabha elections 2019, Lalu Prasad Yadav's son and RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav said that the exit polls are like the compulsions market goes through before exit. He further declared that Mahgathbandhan will win in the state of Bihar despite exit polls predictions that they are likely to lose. He also referred to the Opposition's allegation of EVM hacking and rigging.

Tweeting about his opinion on exit polls that predicted a Modi 2.0, Tejashwi said:

"The exit polls are like the compulsions market goes through before exit. Institutions related to the Sangh and solutions suggested by Sangh plays with the psychology. We do not accept it. We are winning. Keep an eye on the strong room, their wrong intentions must not come true."

Reacting on the exit polls, another interesting comment came from Jammu and Kashmir National Conference chief Omar Abdullah who said 'its time to switch off the TV.

On the other hand, Kumar Vishwas took a dig on Chandrababu Naidu's meet with the Opposition leaders, especially Arvind Kejriwal in the last attempt to unite Opposition before the elction results are declared on May 23.

"Chandrababu Naidu must be thinking that his meeting with 'Chanda Babu' in Delhi went in vain"
