With both the Lok Sabha election 2019 and IPL proceeding with full sap, this is the season of elections as well as cricket. Merging the two, Bihar's former deputy Chief Minister and RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav shared a light moment with Republic Media Network, just a day before the fifth phase of Lok Sabha election.
Before giving an exclusive interview, Tejashwi Yadav played cricket, trying his hands both on batting and balling.
On being asked about his plans on marriage as he is 'the most eligible bachelor', Tejashwi blushed and then responded that he will have to pressurize his parents so that they think something about his marriage.
"Nobody knows when they will get married, you also didn't know when will you marry. Similarly I also don't know. There's no pressure from family, I think I will have to pressurise them. Marriage happens when father and mother decide about marriage. There's an age for marriage, people should get married within that age, if you find someone for me, do let me know."
When asked if he will focus on his plans of marrying after elections, he said: 'Bas, let's see'.
He also talked about Begusarai candidate of CPI and former JNU Student Union president Kanhaiya Kumar, saying that he does not believe in the 'traitor tag' levelled against him.
"We didn't give the seat to Kanhaiya Kumar because our agenda is to defeat BJP and we already had a strong contender in Begusarai, it's not because of his traitor tag, no one is traitor until and unless the court says it.Congress is planning to scrap sedition law because many times it has been misused, now see during BJP's tenure charges against Kanhaiya was made claiming that he raised slogans against the country but later when the court passed judgement, we came to know that it was a fake video. Kanhaiya suffered unnecessarily, bechara beguna bacha. (Poor innocent child)"
