NDA's Bihar List OUT: Ravi Shankar Prasad, Giriraj Singh And Other Central Ministers The Biggest Names. Here's The List

Two days after BJP announced the first list of candidates for General Elections 2019, the BJP-led NDA on Saturday announced the names of candidates for Bihar Lok Sabha.

Addressing the press briefing in Patna, BJP in-charge for Bihar, Bhupendra Yadav confirmed that Union Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad will be the party's candidate from Patna Sahib constituency, clearing the air on the candidature of current MP Shatrughan Sinha.

Furthermore, Union Minister Giriraj Singh, who is at present a Member of Parliament from the Nawada parliamentary constituency, is all set to contest from Begusarai. Lok Janshakti Party's Chirag Paswan and Chandan Kumar are set to contest from Jamui and Nawada respectively

The NDA has released its complete of all the candidates for Bihar in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections 2019, leaving only one seat for Khagaria (LJP). Here are the names:

  1. Balimiki Nagar: Baidyanath Prasad Mahto, JD(U)
  2. West Champaran: Sanjay Jaiswal, BJP
  3. East Champaran: Radha Mohan Singh, BJP
  4. Sheohar: Rama Devi, BJP
  5. Sitamarhi: Varun kumar, JD(U)
  6. Madhubani: Ashok Kumar Yadav, BJP
  7. Jhanjhar: Ram Preet Mandal, JD(U)
  8. Supaul: Dileshwar Kamat, JD(U)
  9. Araria, Pradeep Singh, BJP
  10. Kishan Ganj: Mahmood Ashraf, JD(U)
  11. Katihar: Dulal Chand Goswami, JD(U)
  12. Purnia: Santosh Kumar Kushwaha, JD(U)
  13. Madhepur: Dinesh Chand Yadav, JD(U)
  14. Darbhanga: Gopal Thakur, BJP
  15. Muzaffarpur: Ajay Nishad, BJP
  16. Vaishali: Vina Devi, LJP
  17. Gopalganj: Alok Kumar Suman, JD(U)
  18. Siwan: Kavita Singh, JD(U)
  19. Maharajganj: Janardan Singh, BJP

On March 17, the NDA announced the alliance consisting of BJP, Bihar CM Nitish Kumar's JDU (Janata Dal (United)) and Ram Vilas Paswan's LJP (Lok Janshakti Party) out of which the BJP and JDU will be contesting on 17 seats each, while, LJP will be contesting on six seats in the 40-seated Bihar Lok Sabha elections.
