Hitting out at Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and his NDA government, former CM of Bihar Rabri Devi on Saturday said that the tyrannical Nitish-Modi government has incarcerated RJD chief and her husband Lalu Yadav in a false case.

A day before the sixth phase of the Lok Sabha elections in the country, Rabri took to Twitter to declare that the case against her husband was false. She further alleged that Lalu Yadav is being tortured, and was being inhumanely treated.

"Injustice and tyrannical Nitish Modi government have incarcerated saheb (Lalu Yadav) in a false case. He is being tortured in jail. They are not letting his treatment continue. They are behaving inhumanly with him and they make their men abuse him.

People this time will slap them with their votes. With the power of the vote, they will be slapped so tight that they won't ever forget."

Earlier before the third phase of Lok Sabha elections, Rabri had alleged that the central government is trying to kill her husband Lalu Yadav by poisoning him, while he is in jail. Her comments came after the family was denied to meet Lalu Yadav.

"They did not even let his own son meet him on Saturday. They only allow three people to meet him every week. If something happens to Lalu ji then the people will take to the streets. If the state and Central government wants to kill him by poisoning, if they want to kill the entire Lalu family, they can do that, this kind of dictatorship won't work," he said.

The three cases in which Lalu Yadav has been convicted are related to the over Rs. 900-crore fodder scam, which pertains to fraudulent withdrawal of money from the treasuries in the Animal Husbandry department in the early 1990s, when Jharkhand was part of Bihar.
