While three days are left for the fifth phase of Lok Sabha elections, politicians across the spectrum have geared up their campaigning and are indulging in the blame game. In Bihar, politicians took to fist fight while campaigning for their party. Interestingly, these were politicians on the same side.
On Friday, in Kurhani area of Muzzafarpur in Bihar, former Bihar Minister Manoj Kushwaha JDU and present MLA Kedar Prasad Gupta of BJP started a fist fight over who will sit beside the Chief Minister of Bihar Nitish Kumar on the stage. The JD(U) and the BJP form the part of NDA in the state.
Before the Chief Minister arrived on the stage, both the leaders started a fist fight, while people and media who had gathered in the rally captured the incident. The two stopped only when other leaders came for rescue.
In 2015 assembly elections, Kedar Prasad Gupta of BJP defeated Manoj Kumar Singh of JD(U) when JD(U) was a part of the Mahagathbandhan in Bihar and contesting against the BJP.
This election season many scenes from an election rally in Bihar has gone viral. Among them, was a video of PM Modi rally on April 25 from Dharbhanga. Former Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar Tejashwi Yadav took to Twitter and posted the video featuring Nitish Kumar wherein he can be seen on the stage along with PM Modi and other BJP-led NDA leaders. As PM Modi chanted Vande Mataram on the podium, while addressing the rally, the entire crowd along with other NDA leaders went berserk repeated 'Vande Mataram' with him. However, amid the loud chants of the slogans, JD(U) chief Nitish Kumar can be seen silent on the stage.
The video further shows LJP leader Ram Vilas Paswan joining the "Vande Mataram" chorus, but next to him, the Bihar CM chose to stay silent with a smile on his face. Furthermore, as everyone on the stage stood up to their feet to join PM Modi in the chanting, Nitish Kumar was the last to stand up.
"Keep your special focus only on my uncle (Nitish Kumar). My dear uncle, what have you done to yourself? Maybe, you will not feel suffocated since you are surrounded by poisoned people," Tejashwi Yadav wrote to Twitter tagging Nitish Kumar.
Then he wrote few lines of the popular Bollywood song 'Haye Haye Yeh Majboori' sung by Lata Mangeshkar for the movie 'Roti Kapada Aur Makaan':
