When asked about May 23 results and the competition RJD faces from JD(U), RJD Leader and son of former Bihar Chief Minister Lalu Yadav, Tejashwi Yadav, on Tuesday commented that his main rival in state, current Bihar CM and JD(U) Chief, Nitish Kumar  and his party 'will go extinct like dinosaurs.'

"Nitish Kumar and Nitish Kumar's party will not exist after May 23. Like the dinosaurs they will disappear," said Yadav.

Further commenting on BJP national general secretary Ram Madhav's doubt on whether BJP will get a majority in the Lok Sabha elections, Yadav asked 'if BJP fails to get a majority, how will they ally with 'Mahamilavat'.

"See, BJP has been completely exposed. When senior BJP leaders like Ram Madhav is accepting that they(BJP) will not get a majority . And even NDA allies will not help to reach 272. So they need more allies. I want to ask them that as they are saying all those parties who are not in NDA as 'Mahamilavat', how will BJP and Ram Madhav ally with those parties whom they are considering as 'Mahamilavat'. BJP losing their ground." added Yadav.

Here's What Tejashwi Yadav Made Of Rahul Gandhi's 'boxer' Attack At PM Modi

Earlier in an interview with a news channel, Ram Madhav had speculated on Lok Sabha results saying, "If we get 271 seats on our own, we will be very happy." But he had added that with the NDA they(BJP) would have a comfortable majority.

Here's How Tejashwi Yadav Used Shivraj Singh Chouhan To Rebut PM Modi's And Nitish Kumar's 'lantern Has Been Extinguished In Bihar' Jibe

Yadav had previously taken a jibe at the JD(U) Chief saying that while the PM and Bihar CM are reiterating that 'lantern has extinguished', their party member and Former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Chouhan is holding a lantern, that is the poll-symbol of Lalu Yadav's party RJD.

He wrote: " Shri Narendra Modi ji comes to Bihar and says Lantern has extinguished. In an era of the missile, the 'paltu chacha' is saying the era of the lantern is gone, but former CM of Madhya Pradesh Shivraj Chouhan is showing them that lantern is still lit. He said the lantern gathbandhan in Bihar will win with a huge margin."

On last Sunday, BJP leader Shivraj Singh Chouhan held a 'lantern march' in Bhopal along with other party leaders and supporters to target the ruling Kamal Nath government and Congress leader Digvijaya Singh over the issue of shortage of electricity in the state.

Bihar will vote in the remaining two phases with Valmiki Nagar, Paschim Champaran, Purvi Champaran, Sheohar, Vaishali, Gopalganj, Siwan, Maharajganj polling on May 12 and Nalanda, Patna Sahib, Pataliputra, Arrah, Buxar, Sasaram, Kurakat, Jahanabad polling on May 19. Results are scheduled to be announced on May 23.
