'2019 election is to defeat dynasticism, casteism, communalism and corruption', says Amit Shah at BJP Manifesto launch. Here's his note

In the BJP manifesto launch ceremony on Monday, Party president Amit Shah gave the introductory speech highlighting the core values based on preparing the vision statement of BJP for the forthcoming five years and the achievements of the BJP-led 2014 government till date.

In the BJP manifesto launch ceremony on Monday, Party president Amit Shah gave the introductory speech highlighting the core values based on preparing the vision statement of BJP for the forthcoming five years and the achievements of the BJP-led 2014 government till date.

Basing clean governance as BJP's prime focus he said: 

"In 2014, nobody believed that multi-dimensional developmental goals could be achieved without resorting to corruption. But we have succeeded in conveying this message to the people at large that governance is possible without corruption."

Listing the major achievements of the BJP government he said:

"In its tenure of five years, the government led by PM Narendra Modi has ushered in comprehensive nd fundamental transformation with th Swachh Bharat Mission, Ujjwala Yjana, Saubhagya Yojanaa, Demonetisation, GST, Surgical strikes, air strikes, total electrification, housing for 2.5 crore families, Ayushman Bharat and MUDRA Yojana are some achievements."  

Following this, he emphasised the importance of the 2019 elections saying:

" This election is to defeat dynasticism, casteism, communalism and corruption."

Speaking on the vision document he said:

"It is a representative document of the expectations pf the people, and reflects their hopes and aspirations."

Lok Sabha polling will take place in seven phases for all the 29 states and seven Union Territories beginning from April 11 to May 7, 2019. The results will be announced on May 23, 2019.
