2019 Lok Sabha Election Results: Mamata Banerjee issues first statement as NDA storms ahead, says "Congratulations to the winners, but all losers are not losers" and raises 'VVPATS'

As the counting of votes is underway in the nation for the 2019 Lok Sabha elections for the 542 seats in the 29 states and 7 Union Territories, and the BJP leading with more than 300 seats, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee congratulated the winners and said that 'all losers are not losers'.

As the counting of votes is underway in the nation for the 2019 Lok Sabha elections for the 542 seats in the 29 states and 7 Union Territories, and the BJP leading with more than 300 seats, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee congratulated the winners and said that 'all losers are not losers'. 

Taking to Twitter as the counting was underway, she added that after the voting process completes, then her party will share views with the people. 

As the counting began on May 23, she dedicated a song to the nation while she played a keyboard. She also posted a Bengali Poem called 'Joruri' (Important).

In the poem (in Bengali) she posted, she talked about how Opposing the wrong is necessary and that one should be the force who doesn't follow the leader blindly.

Her tweet came after 12 noon on May 23 when the NDA was leading in more than 340 seats. Meanwhile, Jammu and Kashmir NC leader Omar Abdullah also said that credit should be given to BJP and NDA. Former CM of Jammu and Kashmir also congratulated Narendra Modi.

At the time of publishing, BJP is giving a tough fight to Trinamool by winning 19 seats compared to Trinamool's 22, in West Bengal.
