AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal terms BJP's Lok Sabha Election manifesto "new set of jumlas"

Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal on Monday called on BJP's Lok Sabha Election manifesto "new set of jumlas". He demanded to know from the party whether it fulfilled its 2014 promises and attacked the party for demonetisation.

Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal on Monday called on BJP's Lok Sabha Election manifesto "new set of jumlas". He demanded to know from the party whether it fulfilled its 2014 promises and attacked the party for demonetisation.

"BJP unveils a fresh set of jumlas without telling the country what is the fate of its 2014 jumlas. Modi-Shah don't have the courage to speak on why demonetisation was done ? What happened to two crore jobs ? Why were farmers pushed towards destruction?", he tweeted.

The Bharatiya Janata Party released its Lok Sabha election manifesto on Monday in presence of PM Narendra Modi. Top BJP leaders including party president Amit Shah, Foreign Minister Sushma Swaraj, Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh and Finance Minister Arun Jaitley were also present at the occasion in New Delhi. In the 48-page 'Sankalp Patra', the party has highlighted its vision a 'new India' in the next five years. 

"Under the leadership of PM Modi, the central government has brought positive change in the life of every Indian in the last 5 years. While ensuring accountability, government has worked for the welfare of the public," reads the party manifesto. 

Expressing confidence on the fulfilment of the goals for the country ahead of the 75th anniversary of independence in 2022, BJP enlisted 75 promises to help strengthen India and bring about positive change in the life of every Indian.

The BJP listed 75 milestones for India at 75 (2022), highlighting the various broad areas:

Youth and Education

Infrastructure

Economy

Railways

Health

Good Governance

Inclusive Development

Cultural Heritage

Women
