Anil Kapoor congratulates Sunny Deol and Kirron Kher on their 2019 Lok Sabha elections wins as his endorsement bears fruit

NDA has stormed to victory in the 2019 general elections with over 350 seats. Following the massive victory, Bollywood's evergreen star Anil Kapoor extended congratulatory greetings to his 'Inteqam' co-star Sunny Deol. The actor turned politician who contested elections this year for BJP won the seat in Gurudaspur, Punjab in 2019 Lok Sabha polls with 558719 votes beating Congress candidate Sunil Jakhar. 

In a recent Twitter post, Anil Kapoor extended support to his friend and colleague and wrote, "Congratulations, @iamsunnydeol on the win! We all believe in you! This is the start of something new and promising and I wish you all the best!"

Following the same, Anil Kapoor also congratulated his industry mate and friend Kirron Kher on social media as the actor turned politician won the seat from Chandigarh for the second time in 2019 Lok Sabha elections. Anil Kapoor took to Twitter on Friday, May 24 and extended a message for his close friend Anupam Kher's wife, saying, "Congratulations, @KirronKherBJP for your incredible victory from #Chandigarh! With faithful & hard working leaders like you, #India will surely reach greater heights!"

While Anil Kapoor and Anupam Kher's friendship has gone much beyond their decades-long professional collaboration, the former had also extended a video message urging fans to vote for his 35-year-old comrade Kirron ahead of the General elections.

Kirron Kher who has been the sitting MP from Chandigarh was re-elected with 69642 votes. She was contesting opposite Congress candidate Pawan Kumar Bansal, who was defeated scoring 46970 votes. 

Meanwhile, Anil Kapoor has also wished actor turned politician Smriti Irani and Colonel Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore for their achievements in the recent elections.
