ATROCIOUS: 'Wrong vote can make your child a chaiwala, pakorawala or chowkidar,' warns Navjot Singh Sidhu in shocking elitist attack

Hours after Congress leader Navjot Singh Sidhu created controversy over his remark that Prime Minister Narendra Modi does not know anything about nationalism and he should learn from UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi, he has triggered yet another controversy by making an elitist remark on the PM.

 As the fourth phase of Lok Sabha elections proceeded on April 29, Sidhu wrote insult-laden tweet by saying that one vote can make your children a 'chaiwala' , 'pakorawala', or a 'chowkidar'. So one must think and then vote.

Earlier in the day, addressing a rally in Sonia Gandhi's bastion Rae Bareli, Sidhu launched an attack at the Prime Minister alleging that she has become a puppet run by industrialists. 

"You talk about nationalism? You learn about nationalism from Sonia Gandhi. What nationalism you are talking about. You are a sellout. You are a puppet run by industrialists. You don't see development Narendra Damodardas Modi, because your intentions are wrong," Sidhu while addressing a rally in Rae Bareli. 

Later, the Congress's star campaigner claimed that he will quit politics if Rahul Gandhi loses in the Lok Sabha elections 2019, terming Congress' General secretary Priyanka Gandhi as his 'Bigg Boss'. 

"If Rahul bhai loses, I will quit politics. If Modi comes back to power, the nation will wipe out. I have to urge to make Rahul bhai, Priyanka ji my Bigg Boss and Sonia ji a part of your life and then see how this country will flourish."

Before the second phase of elections, Sidhu had first stoked controversy over Muslim vote appeal. While addressing a rally in Bihar's Katihar, Navjot Singh Sidhu had urged the '64 per cent Muslim population' in the region to vote to remove the government-led by PM Modi. 

"Muslim brother, people like Owaisi want to win by dividing the Muslim vote here. 64% is your (Muslim) population is in majority here and if you will get together and cast your votes, then Modi will be finished," said Sidhu in a public rally in Purnia on Tuesday. 

Taking cognisance of his vote appeal, the Election Commission had on April 22 imposed a 72-hour campaigning ban on Navjot Singh Sidhu for violating the Model Code of Conduct.
