BJP Releases Fourth List Of Lok Sabha Election Candidates, 11 Names From Telangana, West Bengal, UP And Kerala Fielded

The BJP has released its fourth list of candidates for the upcoming General Elections 2019 on Saturday afternoon that includes the names of 11 representatives from four different states.

The BJP has released its fourth list of candidates for the upcoming General Elections 2019 on Saturday afternoon that includes the names of 11 representatives from four different states.

The list includes names from Uttar Pradesh, Telangana, West Bengal, and Kerala. 

The candidates fielding for BJP in the different states are: 

  • Telangana, Adilabad- Soyam Babu Rao
  • Telangana, Peddapalle- S. Kumar
  • Telangana, Zahirabad- Banala Laxma Reddy
  • Telangana, Hyderabad- Dr. Bhadwanth Rao
  • Telangana, Chelvella- B. Janardhan Reddy
  • Telangana, Khammam- Vasudev Rao
  • Kerala, Pathanamthitta- Surendran
  • Uttar Pradesh, Kairana- Pradeep Choudhary
  • Uttar Pradesh, Nagina- Dr. Yeshwant
  • Uttar Pradesh, Bulandshahr- Bhola Singh
  • West Bengal, Jangipur- Mafuja Khatun

The decision was taken after a meeting of the Central Election Committee of the BJP here. The meeting was attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh, Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley and External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj among others.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will once again contest from Varanasi. BJP party chief Amit Shah will be contesting the Lok Sabha elections for the first time, from the Gandhinagar constituency in Gujarat.

Along with the bigwigs from the BJP, the Narendra Modi-led party also announced the contest for a number of new entrants from Congress and TMC for the 2019 Lok Sabha polls.
