Prime Minister Narendra Modi released the Bharatiya Janata Party's election manifesto 'Sankalp Patra' for the ensuing 2019 polls on Monday in the presence of party president Amit Shah and other senior party leaders including Union Minister Sushma Swaraj, Arun Jaitley and Rajnath Singh in New Delhi.
In the election manifesto, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has written a 'message for the 130 crore Indians'. Calling the election manifesto the 'voice of the people in the true sense', PM Modi said, "I thank lakhs of alert, committed and patriotic citizens of India, who have enriched the Sankalp Patra with their valuable inputs."
Adding that the next five years are crucial with the country marking 75 years of its independence in 2022, PM Modi said "generations of great women and men laid down their lives so that we could breathe the air of freedom so it is out scared duty to creat the India of their dreams."
