BSP Supremo Mayawati Calls LK Advani's Blog 'Reality Check On Functioning Of Modi Government'

Two days after BJP veteran LK Advani wrote a blog, BSP supremo Mayawati said that his blog is a ‘reality check’ for the ruling party. Taking to Twitter on Saturday, the former Uttar Pradesh CM wrote that LK Advani's blog is an 'admonition on the working of the BJP'.

She further added that it is a 'serious no-confidence against the Narendra Modi-led BJP government' on the foundation day of the party. Later, she went on to urge the people to not bring the party back to power, calling it 'despotic/anti-people Modi govt'.

One of the founding members of the Bharatiya Janata Party, LK Advani on Thursday wrote a blog titled 'Nation first, party next self last', in which spoke the saffron party, stating that it has always kept the nation first.

"On April 6th, the BJP will celebrate its Foundation Day. This is an important occasion for all of us in the BJP to look back, look ahead and look within. As one of the Founders of the BJP, I deem it to be my duty to share my reflections with the people of India, and more specifically with the millions of workers of my Party, both of whom have indebted me with their affection and respect. The essence of Indian democracy is respect for diversity and freedom of expression," the BJP veteran wrote in the blog.

Resonating with LK Advani's views, PM Narendra Modi lauded his mentor's sentiment, saying 'it captures the true essence of BJP".

Earlier responding to the blog, West Bengal Chief Minister and TMC supremo Mamata Banerjee termed Advani's views as 'significant':
