PM Narendra Modi gave his final interview for the Lok Sabha elections campaigning to Republic Media Network's Executive Editor Abhishek Kapoor. PM Modi had also given the very first interview of the poll canvassing to this channel.

He was asked about the Opposition saying that his constituency consists of a Hindutva-base. He replied saying:

"Inka Hindutva se lena dena nahi he. Yeh mahamilavati log Hindutva shadb bas Musalmaano ko darane ke liye upyog karte he. Yeh unke paas Musalmaano ko darane ka auzar he. Sach yeh he main Gujarat ka longest serving CM hoon. Chunav ke samay vividh tyohar ho rahe he. Sawal he mera governance me ek hi wing he jo he Janta Janardhan ka Kalyan. (Look, they have nothing to do with Hindutva. They use the word Hindutva, these mahamilaavatis, use it only to fearmonger and to create panic amongst the Muslim community. This is only a tool for them to misguide the Muslims, to fearmonger and to create panic amongst them. It is nothing more than that. I have been the longest serving chief minister in the state of Gujarat and even in these 5 years, I just gave you an example, the IPL is on even during general elections, it is the month of Ramazan too, there was Easter too, there was Ram Navami, there was Hanuman Jayanti and even the general elections are underway. This is the power of governance.)," he said.

PM Modi also spoke about BJP's Bhopal candidate and Malegaon terror-accused Sadhvi Pragya who has been in controversy for her statements, the latest being the one where she called Nathuram Godse a patriot.

PM Modi also spoke about Rahul Gandhi saying that he does not hate him but the ideology of RSS.
