In his last interview for the 2019 Lok Sabha elections campaigning, PM Narendra Modi spoke to Executive Editor Abhishek Kapoor. The Prime Minister had given his first ever interview for his Lok Sabha elections canvassing to Republic Media Network.

When asked whether the 2019 Lok Sabha elections was a contest between Modi vs Others, he said:

"Yeh jawab dene ki jimmedari vipaksh ke vishay se he. Vipaksh ke na neta ke baare me pata he aur na niti ke bate me, na unke anubhav niyat ke prati vishwas paida kar pata he aur isliye yeh tel or paani jaisa milan he ki dikhta toh he par milte nahi he, agar Republic TV ko mauka mile, toh full form pooch lijiye. (The Opposition must answer this question. There is no clue about their leader or their policy and their experience does not place any confidence in them. They are like oil and water which appear together but do not mix)" he said.

PM Modi in speeches during the rallies has been criticising the mahagathbandhan saying that it will only form an indecisive and weak (majboor) government than a majboot (strong) one that his coalition, the NDA, has to offer. He has also termed the Opposition's coalition as 'mahamilavat' (impure).

PM Modi also spoke about BJP's Bhopal candidate and Malegaon terror-accused Sadhvi Pragya who has been in controversy for her statements, the latest being the one where she called Nathuram Godse a patriot.
