RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav has taken a dig at Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar after he was allegedly silent during the 'Vande Mataram' chants raised by Prime Minister Narendra Modi at a rally in Bihar.

Former Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar Tejashwi Yadav took to Twitter and posted a video of Nitish Kumar wherein he can be seen on the stage along with PM Modi and other BJP-led NDA leaders. As PM Modi chanted Vande Mataram on the podium, while addressing the rally, the entire crowd along with other NDA leaders went berserk repeated 'Vande Mataram' with him. However, amid the loud chants of the slogans, JD(U) chief Nitish Kumar can be seen silent on the stage.

The video, which was taken from a PM Modi rally on April 25 from Dharbhanga, further shows LJP leader Ram Vilas Paswan joining the "Vande Mataram" chorus, but next to him, the Bihar CM chose to stay silent with a smile on his face. Furthermore, as everyone on the stage stood up to their feet to join PM Modi in the chanting, Nitish Kumar was the last to stand up.

"Keep your special focus only on my uncle (Nitish Kumar). My dear uncle, what have you done to yourself? Maybe, you will not feel suffocated since you are surrounded by poisoned people," Tejashwi Yadav wrote to Twitter tagging Nitish Kumar.

Then he wrote few lines of the popular Bollywood song 'Haye Haye Yeh Majboori' sung by Lata Mangeshkar for the movie 'Roti Kapada Aur Makaan':

Opining on the video, AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi also questioned whether BJP supporters would call Nitish Kumar "anti-national".
