Hours after Congress president Rahul Gandhi posted a tweet asserting that he 'loves all living beings', BJP chief Amit Shah responded to his tweet, calling it a 'fine example of arrogance and delusion'.
Taking to his official Twitter handle on Friday, the BJP president replied to Rahul Gandhi's tweet saying that the Congress president is now seeing the 'entire humankind as full of hate, except himself', adding a 'Get well soon' wish for the 'Yuvraj'.
Earlier, Rahul Gandhi posted a tweet on his official handle saying that he is not a coward and will not hide behind hate even if the entire world is full of hatred.
This comes in the light of the statement made by Rahul Gandhi Friday claiming that he love Prime Minister Narendra Modi but stated that the latter holds anger against him. In an interaction with students in Pune, the Rahul Gandhi stated that he has no 'hatred or anger' towards PM Modi, however, PM has anger towards him.
He said, "I love PM Modi. Genuinely, I have no hatred or anger towards the man, but he (Modi) has anger towards me. I genuinely do not have anger towards him."
Also, there were brief chants of "Modi, Modi" soon after this comment, to which Gandhi responded," Its fine.. its OK".
There have been instances when Rahul Gandhi has spoken about his 'affection' for PM Modi.
