As India's Lok Sabha polls reach its concluding phase, BJP president Amit Shah on Sunday has shared his message to voters in the ultimate voting phase appealing that they choose a stronger leadership which will provide them with amenities, progress, security, and respect.
(Security, development and respect to the country can only be given by strong leadership. Every poor will be able to have basic amenities like home, electricity, water, gas, and toilets only due to clean intentions. I appeal to all the voters polling in the last phase of elections to choose growth and the growing confidence of new India.)
Union Minister of Home Affairs Rajnath Singh also shared his message to voters urging them to come out and vote in record numbers, strengthening democracy.
Earlier in the day, PM Modi who is currently enroute to Badrinath shrine too had shared his message signifying the importance of each vote as it may shape India’s development trajectory in the years to come.
In the seventh phase of the polls, 59 constituencies across 7 states and one Union territory will seal the fate of 918 candidates. Polling is currently underway Bihar, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh and West Bengal, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, and Chandigarh.
The high-profile candidates battling for a parliamentary seat are PM Narendra Modi, Union Law Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad, Shatrughan Sinha, Ram Kripal Yadav, Meira Kumar, Misa Bharti, Ravi Kishan, Anurag Singh Thakur, Sunny Deol, Harsimrat Kaur Badal, Sukhbir Singh Badal, Chandra Kumar Bose, Abhishek Banerjee, Kirron Kher, Pawan Kumar Bansal.
Results are scheduled on May 23.
