Rahul Gandhi has whipped up a conspiracy theory against Prime Minister Narendra Modi, making a serious accusation against him for 'burning files'

Referring to the Shastri Bhawan fire in Delhi that erupted earlier in day, the Congress president tainting the accident with a political color has alleged Prime Minister Modi's hand in the fire.

He tweeted:

Modi ji burning files is not going to save you. Your day of judgement is coming.

The Fire Service entirely denying Rahul Gandhi's claims, stated that the fire broke out on the sixth floor terrace where there were only waste material, old furnitures and discarded computers. They further said that no files or government documents were damaged.

The fire that broke out at Delhi's Shastri Bhawan on Tuesday afternoon was immediately doused as the fire fighting department swung into action. At least seven fire tenders were deployed at the spot to put out the blaze. No casulties were reported and the reason for the fire is presume to be due to a short circuit.

However, the Congress bigwig has maintained his mum over the uproar over his citizenship wherein the Home Ministry had cited a complaint by BJP MP Dr Subramanian Swamy which made reference to a company - Backops Limited - registered in the UK in which Rahul Gandhi is named as director and secretary, and also, critically, a British citizen. Pertinently, Rahul Gandhi's birthdate is listed accurately, something Dr Swamy has emphasised.

"It has been brought out that a Company named Backops Limited was registered in the United Kingdom in the year 2003, with address 51 Southgate Street Winchester, Hampshire S023 9EK and that you were one of the Directors and Secretary of the said Company. It has been further brought out that in the Company's Annual Returns filed on 10/10/2005 and 31/10/2006, your date of birth has been given as 19/06/1970 and that you had declared your nationality as British," the Director, Citizenship has written in the notice to Rahul Gandhi.

However, his sister Priyanka Gandhi opining on the issue has 'rubbished' the issue, Rahul Gandhi has

"The entire country knows that Rahul Gandhi is Indian. He was born in front of them, he was raised in front of them, everybody knows, what bakwas (rubbish) is this?"
