Reminiscing the various rallies held throughout the nation, PM Modi, on Friday has shared his confidence in NDA's chances in forming a government in 2019, through pictures of the crowd from his Instagram account.

He posted:

"Colours of the campaign! I'm travelling all over India and it's clear that India wants NDA yet again."

Some of them depict the crowds in his rallies and road shows displaying a range of communities and locations scattered around the nation.

One photo was from the April 25 roadshow in Varanasi.

PM Modi who arrived at Varanasi started his mega roadshow at 5:15 PM with the garlanding of Banaras Hindu University (BHU) founder Madan Mohan Malaviya's statue. The rally was originally to start at 3 pm but was delayed by over two hours. Travelling with a massive entourage, the Prime Minister passed through a sea of supporters thronging to see him and progressed on his 7 km long roadshow from the Malaviya statue to the Dashashwamedha Ghat.

PM Holds Mega Roadshow In Varanasi

At the culmination of the roadshow, as per schedule, PM Modi was joined on the dais by BJP president Amit Shah, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and to view the splendid Ganga Aarti and the party's UP president Mahendra Nath Pandey. PM Modi tweeted his happiness at witnessing the Ganga Aarti at Dashashwamedha Ghat in Varanasi. After the Ganga Aarti, the Prime Minister addressed the crowd at Varanasi. 

Prime Minister Narendra Modi filed his nomination papers for the Varanasi Lok Sabha seat on April 26, accompanied by a galaxy of top BJP and NDA leaders in what was a massive show of strength for the country's ruling alliance.

He also shared a few photos from the nomination filing in which all the NDA allies stood together with PM Modi in solidarity, most of them wearing hues of white and silver-gold. The NDA allies present for the Prime Minister's nomination were Bihar Chief Minister and JD-U chief Nitish Kumar, Union minister and LJP chief Ram Vilas Paswan, Shiv Sena supremo Uddhav Thackeray, Shiromani Akali Dal patron Parkash Singh Badal, party president Amit Shah, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and senior Union ministers Rajnath Singh, Nitin Gadkari and Sushma Swaraj. Apart from them, AIADMK leaders O Pannerselvam, M Thambidurai and Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio were also present. After filing for his nomination, the PM Modi touched the feet of Badal (91), who is senior to him in age by 23 years, and sought his blessings.


PM Modi is set to contest from Varanasi on May 19. Results for the Lok Sabha will be announced on May 23.
