Taking politics to an intergalactic level, the Indian National Congress (INC), on Saturday which is also Star Wars day, has quoted Jedi master Yoda's warning to his young Padawan Anakin Skywalker from the movie - 'The Phantom Menace,' about anger being a path to the dark side. In the tweet, the Congress has likened the current Modi regime to the Sith regime or the dark side, highlighting the politics of hate being pursued during the election season.
The tweet quoted Yoda's advice to resist the temptation to the ' dark side' writing:
"Fear is the path to the dark side. Fear leads to anger. Anger leads to hate. Hate leads to suffering."

While Congress used Yoda to take a jibe at 'hate politics' pursued by the BJP, PM Narendra Modi took a direct hit at the Opposition tweeting the five evils of the 'Mahamilawat' on Saturday. The Prime Minister had unveiled this ideology in his rally in Pratapgarh, Uttar Pradesh.
The tweet read:
The five dangers of the 'Mahamilawat' are-
First danger - Corruption
Second danger - Instability
Third danger - Caste discrimination
Fourth danger - Dynasty
Fifth danger - Bad governance
While many have responded positively to this Jedi jibe by the Congress, some have reminded that May the 23rd would be payback to this May the fourth wish.
Apart from Indian politics, worldwide May the fourth is celebrated as Star Wars day as the date is a pun on the Jedi blessing, "May the Force be with you" as used throughout the Star Wars franchise. Interestingly, it was fans who dubbed May 4 as Star Wars Day and not the producers - Lucasfilm.
