In a big win for India, owing to its diplomatic efforts, the United Nations Security Council designated Jaish-e-Mohammed chief Masood Azhar as a global terrorist under the United Nations sanctions list on Wednesday. Days after the development, BSP supremo Mayawati, in yet another attack on the Prime Minister has accused him of not crediting the UN team of India for their work.
Taking to Twitter on Sunday, May 5, Mayawati said: "Due to election season, PM Modi forgot to congratulate the Indian team in United Nations because of whose effort this has been possible, however, America's foreign ministry called it a victory of their diplomacy and they wrote a letter to their UN team to congratulate them What is the difference between the leadership of both the nations?"
The BSP supremo then went on to claim that the United States is trying to make India pay the money they will spend in buying oil after their sanction on Iran's oil.
"The declaration of Masood Azhar as global terrorist by the UN has been termed by PM Modi as his achievement whereas America is calling this their win, following which they have stopped importing oil from Iran and is making India 'pay' for it. We all can have a look where is PM Modi's love for country is taking us," she wrote on Twitter.
Earlier on May 2, Mayawati compared the data of American fact-checking website that had alleged that President of United States of America lied ten thousand times in 800 days to PM Modi. She asked, "what do you think would be the case if PM Modi will be in his place"?
