Amidst the election season, Prime Minister Narendra Modi shared a light moment with Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar. Sharing light moments from the pages of his life, PM Modi in a candid conversation talked about his friends in the Opposition and shared the bond he has with political leaders in the country and in the world.'
While narrating an incident about his humour, Prime minister Modi went on to describe an incident with Opposition leader Ghulam Nabi Azad.
He said: "I have many friends in the Opoosition. this is an incident from the past, long ago, when I was not even the Chief Minister of Gujarat, I and Ghulam Nabi went to the Parliament. So when we came out media asked how can you be together and asked me how can I be friends with Ghulam Nabi because I am from RSS. So at that time Ghulam Nabi gave a good answer, he said the kind of familial bond we have, you cannot find it outside. Whatever you see from outside is not true. We are a family."
He then added that the West Bengal Chief Minister send me Kurtas and Bengali sweets twice or thrice a year.
PM Modi also spoke about his humour saying:
"Now coming to humour, in my family, even earlier, when my father or anyone used to get angry, I used to lighten the mood in few minutes. So even now in Cabinet meetings, I crack jokes, but the juniors feel like he is the PM. And nowadays, I am afraid due to the time. there is cherry picking and slamming. Its all TRP, I fear that. So I control my humour."
Among other things PM Modi also revealed that he eats mango and he has a habit to crack jokes to lighten up the moment. Akshay Kumar and PM Modi also took to Twitter share glimpses of their interaction.
