Earlier in the day the BJP leader also made a  big claim about his party's chances in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.

Stating that his latest report suggests that there is a 'backlash against Congress' and 'in favour of BJP', Dr Swamy exclaimed that BJP will get the majority on May 23, 2019 when the results of the polls will be out.

In another tweet earlier on March 12, Dr Swamy claimed that BJP is on track to better its extraordinary 2014 performance by winning in excess of 300 out of 543 seats, stating that his party could win as many as 350 seats which would exceed the overall NDA tally from 2014 as well.

Meanwhile, fates of 961 candidates contesting for 72 Lok Sabha seats are in the fray, with 128 million people voting in the fourth phase in the country’s seven-phase electoral exercise on Monday.
