As the NDA under BJP's leadership is sprinting towards achieving a massive victory, Baba Ramdev spoke to Republic Media Network.
He said that the mandate for the BJP was not just for the next fives years but actually for the direction the people wanted their country to take.
He also praised PM Narendra Modi for the various development projects and welfare schemes.
"The entire country believed in PM Modi's intention, policies, leadership and character. This is not just a mandate for five years, it will decide where the country will go in the coming 20-25 years. I had asked people to realise how their one vote will impact the direction the country will take in the next 20-25 years. Modiji has created a template for development for the country. Amit Shah had said that BJP will be a victorious party. India can over take US, Russia, UK in the future. They (Modi government) thought of every class and implemented over 100 schemes," he said.
Earlier on Thursday, Republic Media Network spoke to BJP's National General Secretary Ram Madhav. Madhav said that people of India had decided that PM Narendra Modi must be made the victor in the polls. He added that this was the primary factor leading to people's win.
"This is a campaign led by the people of the country for Modiji. Other factors are secondary. The people decided that they wanted to make PM Modi win and defeat everyone else." Madhav said.
