After Rahul Gandhi during his address, referred to Amit Shah as a 'murder accused', called Jay Shah a 'magician,' the BJP is up in arms against the Congress president and has said that his conduct calls for action against him.
A complaint was lodged against Gandhi by the BJP over previous 'murder accused' remark at the BJP president in his rally in Tripura.
On Tuesday, he repeated the phrase against Shah in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh and said, "Murder accused BJP President Amit Shah....waah! kya shaan hai....Have you heard Jay Shah's name? He is a magician, he made Rs 50,000 into Rs 80 crore in 3 months."
BJP spokesperson, GVL Narasimha reacted to the comment saying:
"Either he has a problem in understanding or he is mentally retarded and refuses to see reality or he is deliberately committing perfidy or lying through his teeth on issues after issues during the elections. I think this is a case that will certainly call for action against him. There is no case of the nature that Rahul Gandhi mentioned, only some cases. these cases have been mentioned by affidavits by Amit Shah but there are no criminal cases as said by him. This is a blatant lie."
BJP leader Subramanian Swamy also slammed Gandhi and said:
"It is utterly shocking, the man seems to have lost his balance. He took bail in National Herald case and gave surety of Rs 50,000. Calling someone a murderer is the worst thing someone can call anybody in politics. Now Congress should worry as there is still a month and he will ruin all their chances of even getting 44 seats that they did in 2014
BJP's RP Singh also said that Gandhi is propagating falsehood.
"This is a new low in Indian politics. You can't prove anything in court as there is no FIR or complaint. Your false propaganda is shocking. his shows how much frustrated they are as they know they are routed."
