Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday kickstarted his 2019 election campaign in the North-Eastern states. While addressing a rally in Assam's Moran district, PM Modi launched a scathing attack on the Rahul Gandhi-led Congress party and Imran Khan's Pakistan for perpetrating terrorists in their country.
Urging the voters to vote for 'Damdaar government' and not 'Daagdaar government', PM Modi called out the Congress party for constantly singing Pakistan's tunes against the successes of India. Secondly, referring to Pakistan for harboring terrorists, PM Modi said that the Imran Khan-led country is having sleepless after seeing the recent developments in India under NDA governance.
"Today the people are happy, India is happy. But there are two places where people are having sleepless nights. One is - Congress family, and the other is the home of terrorists. For the first time, India killed the terrorists in their own home. Congress is quite tensed that India entered their homes and killed the terrorists," PM Modi said while addressing the Assam rally.
Later, referring to India's stupendous 'Mission Shakti success' which led to the nation's entry in the elite space super powers clubs on the fourth position after US, UK and Russia, the Prime Minister called out the previous UPA government for pushing India towards sufferings and poverty during its 30 years of reign.
"India has shown its power in the space. You must have seen that India's satellite shot down the satellite in three minutes. While you were happy, Congress was tensed. Congress ran such a government which turned the lavish country like India into a country which was suffering, became poor. Now you have to decide if you want damdaar government or daagdaar government," he said urging the voters to choose the right government in the ensuing elections 2019.
The nation is all set to go into polls in less than a fortnight in seven phases, starting from April 11. The results will be declared following the counting of votes together on May 23.
